Well, it’s pretty much a wrap. The show is over and the set has been struck and many of us are slowly tieing up the loose ends. For my part, I’ll return the borrowed football shoulder pads tomorrow and the chassis for the milk truck next week. And there will be a final clean-up day at the warehouse on Saturday.
It was a great run! In addition to the personal satisfaction of a job well done, we enjoyed unprecedented appreciation from our audiences. I hear that we topped attendance records for previous productions of "Patience," and that attendance at our final performance was squeakingly close to being the largest of any at any single performance of any Savoyard production of any show — ever. What a great send-off that was.
I have uploaded some photos from our final performance and a link to our only review (to the left). If any more reviews pop up I’ll try to include links to those as well.
This site will stay up for a while longer and then will either dissappear or be re-born as the "director’s blog" site for next year’s production of "H.M.S. Pinafore."
