We’ve begun to develop a visual concept for marketing our production, and are also working on a rather extensive publicity plan. As I’ve said before, it seems insane that you have to begin marketing a production before you’ve begun rehearsals, met with designers, or even held auditions. But that’s the way it has to be. The upshot is that it forces me to firm up my plans, focus in on my vision for the production, and to clarify the direction I’ll be taking from the very beginning. So we’ve chosen our direction and are making our very first steps on what will certainly be a long, grueling, and absolutely fantastic journey.
