Where’s my whetstone?

So last week we focused on Act II and tonight we revisited Act I.  It had been well over a week since we’d run Act I — and it showed.  Which is to be expected. But which is also to be dealt with. The work is there and the shape is good, but we need to keep working for clarity, confidence and commitment.  As with any performance, the danger lies in letting it soften into a monotonous lump.  That, we shall not do.  We will continually work to sharpen the edges and to keep the dynamic terrain of the performance we’ve built in tact.
