Tonight we add an audience to the mix. We had an excellent final dress rehearsal and are more than ready for the additional energy an audience will bring. That’ll be the last layer — the give and take you can only experience with a live performance. It’ll inform and propel the performances in the most surprising of ways. That’s one reason we work so hard to get the framework of the performance into such solid shape — because audience input ensures that no two performances will be alike. In any event, adrenaline should be pumping and energy should be high. Everything is set (or will be by curtain time); the work has been done and now is the time to put it to the test.
